Senator for the Part-Time Faculty
Nomination Deadline: Friday , April 15, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
Nominations for the Senator for the Part-Time Faculty are now open. The faculty contract requires that nominations be submitted by faculty up to eight (8) calendar days prior to the election. In accordance with the Senate Bylaws these nominations are now open. The term of this office is Fall 2016 through Spring 2019. If you are interested in serving on the Academic Senate, please review the Senator Roles and Responsibilities attached to this email.
If only one nomination is received, then that name will be presented to the Senate for confirmation. If more than one nomination is received, the Senate will conduct an election.
The nomination period will be open from Thursday, April 7, 2016, through Friday, April 15, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. Nominations will only be accepted electronically by email, following the procedure below:
· If you wish to nominate yourself, please reply to this email (E-nomination Form) by sending me your name.
· If you wish to nominate another Senator, forward this email to your nominee and encourage them to nominate themselves.
· It is a Senate requirement that the nominee must include this E-nomination Form with their acceptance of this nomination. Please submit your nomination by email to the Academic Senate Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
