Dear Coast Colleges’ Team,
It is with mixed emotions that I announce my resignation from the Coast Community College District. Coast is an amazing place because of its dedicated professionals and I am very proud of the accomplishments we have achieved during the past three years. For me, the highlights include the passage of Measure M, the creation of Team Launchpad, the implementation of student success initiatives and language at all levels of the organization, and the creation of the Orange County Chancellors’ Regional Taskforce to ensure that all students in the region benefit from our resources and strengths. There are so many things that are done each and every day throughout the District that make Coast special and I am very confident in your talents and abilities and know that you will continue to serve our students well.
My final day at Coast Colleges will be Friday, August 15, 2014, and I look forward to hearing great things about the Coast District in the future. I am thankful for your efforts in creating a community in which our students and our fellow team members thrive. I have enjoyed my time at Coast and enjoyed my time with you, and wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.
